1. Information We Access
During the course of our professional organizing services, we may have "incidental access" to your personal information. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Physical Documents: Financial statements, tax records, legal documents, and personal correspondence.
- Digital Data: File names, folder structures, email metadata, photo libraries, and contact lists.
- Credentials: Temporary access to passwords or biometric login (FaceID/TouchID) to unlock devices for organizing purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We only access your information for the express purpose of providing organizing services. Specifically, we use it to:
- Categorize and label files/folders for easier retrieval.
- Identify and remove duplicate files or outdated documents.
- Streamline your digital workflow and inbox management.
We do not read, copy, or download the contents of your private documents unless specifically requested by you to assist with a specific task.
3. Data Security & Handling
We take the following precautions to ensure your data remains secure:
- No External Storage: We do not transfer your files to our own devices, USB drives, or cloud storage accounts unless you provide written consent for a specific migration project.
- Password Hygiene: We do not store your passwords in any written or digital format. If you provide a password to unlock a device, it is used only for the duration of that session and is never saved.
- Secure Disposal: Any physical documents designated for disposal will be placed in your hardware shredder or a locked bin for professional shredding services. We do not dispose of sensitive documents in regular trash.
4. Third-Party Disclosure
Your data is never for sale. We do not share, sell, or trade your personal information with third parties.
- Exception: We will only disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid subpoena or court order.
5. Photos and Visual Media
To document progress, we may take "Before and After" photos of physical spaces.
- We will never photograph screens displaying sensitive data (e.g., bank balances, social security numbers).
- We will never photograph documents containing identifiable personal information.
- Photos are used for our internal records or marketing only if you have provided express written consent in our Service Agreement.
6. Your Rights & Control
You maintain 100% ownership and control over your data at all times. You have the right to:
- Ask us to stop accessing a specific folder or device at any time.
- Observe all digital work as it is being performed.
- Request the immediate deletion of any photos or notes we have taken regarding your project.
